그녀의 정확한 데뷔시기는 60년이 아니라 54년에 이미 준비되어서 56년에 네쉬빌에서 한레크드사와 계약하면서 데뷔앨범을 내놓게 되는데

그당시 불럿던 노래가 Jambalaya 를 불럿는데 그때의 가창력이 실로 대단했다고 합니다

12살 어린나이에 이미 스타의 길로 가고 있엇으니 훗날에 천만장이 넘어가는 앨범판매고는 이미 예견된것이나 다름없었지 싶습니다
