Hollies는 영국 맨체스터에서 1963년 결성되었으며
Bus Stop, He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother 등 이라는 곡으로 우리에게
잘 알려진 그들은 여러 곡의 히트곡을 발표하였습니다.
하지만, 동시대에 활동한 비틀즈의 명성에 가려져서 그 진가 만큼 인정받지 못한
그룹이기도 합니다.
지금도 그들의 음악을 사랑하는 매니아층이 두텁게 자리하고 있는 것을 보면,
또한 저작권보호로 올리지 못하는 곡이 많은걸 보면
대단한 실력의 팝록 그룹이었음을 짐작할 수 있습니다.
